Peculiarly Shaped Smoky / Amethyst Quartz Crystal - NBB 060

Description:  A peculiarly shaped quartz crystal with unusual termination facets and a "window". The amethyst colour runs a line through the length of the crystal and the termination has some thread-like inclusions of hematite.

The termination appears to be undamaged, but there is some damage at the base of the crystal, where it parted from its matrix.
