Southern Africa has amazing crystal and mineral wealth.

We have spent a number of years collecting and enjoying this treasure. Namibian Brandberg Crystals is a means by which we would like to share our love of mineral specimens and make them available to others.

If we do not have what you are looking for, we work with many other dealers and would gladly help source any mineral specimens you may be looking for.

Photographs: Most of our specimens are photographed in natural sunlight. Please take note that some specimens might appear slightly different when viewed in different sources of light eg. neon, white, tungsten.

Our specimens for sale are split into 3 main categories:

1. South African Mineral Specimens

We mostly have specimens from the following 2 provinces:

a) NORTHERN CAPE: We divided this into 2 areas:

(i) Greater Orange River Area

(ii) Kalahari Manganese Fields

b) WESTERN CAPE

2. Namibian Mineral Specimens

Out of Namibia's numerous areas, we have decided to specialise in 3 areas:

a) Brandberg (variety of quartz & prehnite)

b) Erongo Regions (aquamarine, fluorite, hyalite opal, muscovite, pyrite, quartz, schorl, topaz, & tourmaline)

c) Kaokoland (dioptase, shattuckite and planchéite)

3. Variety

a) Various - Here we have a variety of minerals for sale from various locations in Africa, as well as internationally.

b) Bulk Sales - Here we have bulk lots of crystals for sale. With these bulk sales you can get good crystals at a good price.

General News:

On our blog (Our Blog), you can read about our outings and special trips. Our latest entry on our blog (26 September 2011), is titled "Walking the mountains around Ceres".

We have uploaded (apart from a few other specimens) a few lovely specimens of Rhodochrosite, which you'll find on the Kalahari Manganese Fields page.

We were fortunate to obtain a few specimens of the not-so-common mineral Carrollite from Katanga, Congo (DRC), which we've uploaded on the Various page.

We're in the process of grouping major minerals of the Erongo region into smaller categories, in order to make the browsing easier. So far we have the following mierals on seperate pages: AQUAMARINE, FLUORITE and SCHORL.

We were very fortunate to obtain a few dioptase specimens (Kaokoland, Namibia), (We find that Kaokoland dioptase has become quite difficult to purchase lately.)

We have changed our Discount Policy to make it more accessable for everybody.
