Epidote on Feldspar – VAR 024

Gemmy epidote crystals on feldspar crystals

Measurements:  44 x 31 x 24 mm

Description:  Small sprays of gemmy epidote crystals (up to 4 mm long) sit on a matrix of well-formed white feldspar crystals (up to 6 mm on edge). 

Most of the epidote crystals have a fine white feldspar coating. 

The photograph (bottom, right) shows the bottom of the specimen, which is also covered in crystals.

No visible damage.
