Schorl (Variety Foitite) and Feldspar – NERS 020

Measurements:  60 x 55 x 44 mm

Description:  A cluster of schorl crystals (variety foitite) with a high lustre, partially coated with granular feldspar crystals.

The specimen, with its jet-black, lustrous, multi-faceted foitite crystals, surrounded by white feldspar, displays very well.

The display side (top of the specimen) appears to be undamaged, while the bottom of the specimen has only a few contact marks.
