Schorl Specimen (Variety Foitite) with Feldspar – NERS 018

Measurements:  108 x 59 x 52 mm

Description:  A lovely group of schorl (variety foitite) crystals with multiple terminations and some with ‘mercedes’ signs. The crystals have a shiny, jet-black colour and are partially covered with feldspar.  

The specimen has an inconspicuous pressure mark to its middle, and damage at the bottom, where it parted from its matrix.
