Hyalite Opal on Fluorite and Schorl – NERF 021

Prolific scattering of hyalite opal on fluorite and schorl crystals

Measurements:   90 x 85 x 83 mm

Description:  Fluorite and schorl crystals with a mixture of feldspar and mica, has a prolific scattering of hyalite opal, which should fluoresce very well under ultraviolet light.

In some cavities are small, thin, transparent schorl crystals.

The specimen has a few nicks.
