Drusy fluorite
crystals (up to about 6 mm on edge)
with mostly a deep, dark, gemmy amethyst colouring and others with a
greenish-blue colouring, together with some very small, milky coloured
quartz
crystals, sit on purple fluorite rock. The specimen is quite dark, and
the
amethyst colour comes through better in bright sunlight. Some
of the fluorite crystals are covered with (what appears to be) either
feldspar
or limestone. Both
sides (top and bottom), as well as some cavities, are lined with
crystals. It
displays well on a flat surface when stood on its narrow base, so it
looks good
all round (see four images with marble background). Weight
