Aquamarine crystal on small feldspar matrix

Measurements: 20 x 13 x 07 mm

Description: A small, well-terminated aquamarine crystal with patches of good clarity in its upper part, on a small feldspar matrix.

The lower part of the aquamarine crystal has a small pressure mark, and the termination has a few extremely minute nicks, barely visible with the naked eye.

Weight of Specimen: 1.7 g

      KAlSi₃O₈ (feldspar)

Hardness on Mohs Scale: (aquamarine) 7.5 - 8.0
