Quartz Crystal with Schorl – NER 042

Measurements:  40 x 20 x 13 mm  

Description:  A quartz crystal with very light citrine colouring, schorl that is in as well as on the crystal, and a smoky phantom.

This is part of a rare find at Erongo. We managed to obtain only three of these specimens.

The termination has a few minute nicks (barely visible with the naked eye) and a neat pressure mark. The lower part of the specimen has a few contact / pressure marks.
