Topaz and Quartz - NER 040

Measurements:  69 x 47 x 25 mm

Description:  A topaz crystal, with interesting facets on its bottom side (bottom three images on left), is attached to a smoky quartz crystal with lovely schorl needles inside and on its surface. 

The topaz has a few large flaws and a few nicks. The quartz has a few pressure marks and nicks. 

We tested the specimen in acid, to make sure it has not been "man assembled". Specimens like these are uncommon.
