Smoky/Citrine Quartz Crystal with Schorl - NER 038

Lovely smoky/citrine quartz crystal with schorl

Measurements:  53 x 52 x 35 mm

Description:  A lovely smoky/citrine quartz crystal with bits of schorl and inclusions of minute schorl crystals and minute gas cavities. The crystal has a beautiful pressure mark to its back, probably caused by another mineral that had once been attached, but weathered away over time. At the bottom of the specimen are bits of feldspar attached.

The quartz crystal's termination has only very minute nicks, and a small nick to the lower parts. The adjoining pieces of scorl and quartz are damaged. The specimen displays well on a flat surface.
