Smoky Quartz Crystal – NER 030

Measurements:  70 x 25 x 20 mm

Description:  A smoky quartz crystal with fascinating faces, whitish phantom and minute inclusions of black hematite. 

This one of the better specimens from a rare find at the Erongo mountains in 2015.

The specimen has only a few very small nicks and a neat pressure mark to one of its sides in the lower part.

Growth habits can be confusing, so we're not sure whether this specimen can be classified as cathedral quartz, or not, you decide: http://www.quartzpage.de/gro_text.html
