Clear quartz crystal with small pumpellyite balls inside and outside

Measurements:  40 x 13 x 11 mm

Description:  A clear quartz crystal with small pumpellyite balls inside and on its surface. There is also a small bubble in the upper half, that moves horizontally.

The crystal has a few extremely minute termination nicks (barely visible with the naked eye) and few contact and pressure marks near the bottom.

Weight of Specimen:  8.0 g

Chemical Composition:  SiO2  (quartz)
                                        Ca2MgAl2(Si2O7)(SiO4)(OH)2 · H2O  (pumpellyite)

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  (quartz)  7 
                                           (pumpellyite) 5.5 - 6
