Measurements: 68 x 53 x 45 mm Description: A few balls of green bladed prehnite (about 26 x 26 mm) are clustered together around the base of a lovely clear quartz crystal, that have several minute red and blueish hematite specks inside. There are also several smaller and lesser quartz crystals, as well as a few calcite crystals, of which the largest measures about 14 mm across. These all share a matrix of basalt rock. A few of the lesser crystals have some damage, mostly to the edges of the specimen. Weight of Specimen: 94.9 g Chemical Composition:
Ca2Al2Si3O10(OH)2 (prehnite) Location: Brandberg, Namibia. Specimen Code: NBB 049 US $ 75 . .
