Quartz crystal with numerous tiny crystals on surface

Measurements:  81 x 19 x 17 mm

Description:  A quartz crystal with faint (whitish) phantom and numerous tiny quartz crystals on two of its shaft facets, and numerous minute, reddish-brown hematite spots captured beneath the outer quartz layer. 

The specimen has a flaw, about a quarter way down from the top. The termination has a few very small nicks, and there are pressure and contact marks near the bottom part.
