Measurements: 134 x 69 x 48 mm
Description: A beautiful, double terminated quartz crystal group, ranging from clear to slightly opaque. A few of the double terminated lesser crystals are partly embedded in the main crystal.
One of its terminations has an interesting pressure mark to its side. One of its shaft faces serves as a bed in which numerous lovely clear quartz crystals (in various sizes) rest, partially submerged.
The biggest secondary crystal has multiple terminations and lovely facets. The specimen is partly coated with an orangy colour, presumably iron oxide. Minute bits of feldspar are attached in a few places.
Only a very minute nick to one of the lesser crystals visible. All the photographs were taken in natural sunlight.
This is a very special specimen indeed!
