Quartz and feldspar crystal cluster with rutile needles




Measurements:  38 x 32 x 30 mm

Description:  A delicate specimen consisting of several quartz and feldspar crystals, with two of the quartz, and a few of the feldspar crystals having beautiful copper coloured and blackish rutile needles. The smaller quartz crystal has its rutile needle protruding from it, but more easily seen under magnification (see images 2nd from top, left, and top right).                    

Apart from a very small broken quartz crystal at the edge of the specimen, there is no visible damage. The 3 images with light blue background were taken in norml electric light. The others were taken in natural sunlight.
