Lovely quartz crystal with rutile needles, Vredendal, Western Cape

Measurements:   28 x 17 x 11 mm

Description:  A lovely quartz crystal with several copper coloured rutile needles inside.  The crystal has no damage, except at the bottom where it parted from its matrix.

Riana found this crystal in a clay wall of a gully, close to a dry river-bed.
