Quartz Crystal Cluster – SNCS 015

Measurements:  63 x 24 x 11 mm

Description:  A beautiful, flat quartz cluster. The lovely yellow colour is caused by an iron oxide coating. The back of the crystal is rough, probably where it was attached to a softer mineral. The termination has a small nick and some of the lesser crystals are damaged.

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  7
