Dioptase crystals on milky quartz, Kaokoland, Northern Namibia

Description:  A conglomerate of milky quartz and small dioptase crystals. The latter are each up to ± 2 mm long.

Chemical Composition:  Cu2+SiO2(OH)2 (dioptase) 
                                    SiO2  (quartz)
