Aquamarine Schorl and Feldspar Specimen –  NERA 002

Aquamarine crystal with gemmy upper half, with schorl and feldspar crystals



Measurements:  52 x 46 x 40 mm 

Description:  An aquamarine crystal (26 x 12 x 12 mm) with its gemmy upper half, is attached to several schorl and feldspar crystals. The greenish / yellowish coating of very minute crystals on parts of the specimen, is a (to us, unknown) mineral.

There are a few very small nicks to the aquamarine's termination, and damage to the bottom, where it parted from its matrix. Damage to the schorl is mostly to the bottom of the specimen, where it parted from its matrix.

The specimen displays well on a flat surface.
