Lovely specimen of gemmy fluorite and tourmaline on muscovite - Erongo

 

 

 Measurements:  42 x 24 x 20 mm

Description:  A very delicate specimen of gemmy green / purple fluorite crystals on muscovite, with specs and crystals of black tourmaline (see bottom right).

One of the sides (not seen here) is mostly muscovite. 

Some damage, mostly on the side shown on the bottom photograph.

A really lovely little specimen!

                            NaFe2/3+Al6(BO3)3Si6O18(OH)4  (tourmaline)
