Fluorite Cluster with Muscovite - NER 022

Description:  A lovely cluster of light green / purple coloured fluorite crystals that has been formed around a few black tourmaline crystals. 

Some of the fluorite crystals' facets are clear, whilst others have a matt finish. 

A special feature of this specimen is the muscovite crystals that have developed in between the fluorite and tourmaline, and in a few places it has taken the shape of a rose. 

There is some damage to the specimen where it has broken off its base.

                                  CaF2 (fluorite) 

                                   KAl2(Si3Al)O10(OH,F)2 (muscovite)

                                   NaFe²⁺₃Al₆Si₆O₁₈(BO₃)₃(OH)₄  (schorl)
