Measurements: 46 x
16 x 15 mm Description: A bi-coloured beryl crystal with just over 60% (the bottom part of the crystal) having an aquamarine colour, whereas the top part has a light emerald colour with a yellow tinge. The side facets of the crystal is coated with a thin layer of, what appears to be, feldspar. A strange feature of most of these crystals is the concave shape spread across about two of the facets, probably formed by the specimen growing over / around a feldspar crystal. The termination edges has a few small nicks. The photograph (top, right) taken with the sunlight directly behind it, clearly shows the line between the two colours. According to experienced diggers at the mining area, they have never seen anything like this before. This specimen comes from a very rare find!Weight of Specimen: 20.1 gChemical
