Japanese law twin smoky quartz crystals

Measurements:  41 x 41 x 08 mm

Description:  Two light smoky quartz crystals are joined together at a
90 degree angle to one another. The joint between the two crystals is nearly invisible. The surface of the specimen appears dull.    

The terminations  have only a few very small nicks, there are a few internal flaws and a little bit of damage at the bottom where it parted from its matrix. 

There is a small piece of schorl embedded in the base, where the specimens parted from its matrix. 

A very unusual quartz specimen indeed!
