Quartz crystal with twin termination and lovely gas inclusions

Measurements:  51 x 15 x 10 mm     

Description:  This quartz specimen appears to consist of two crystals that grew together and then fused in the process. The specimen has a faint amethyst colouring and nice gas inclusions, and one small moving bubble (about 1 mm in diametre).

The terminations, with bits of (?)feldspar and quartz wedged in beween them (image bottom left), have a few minute to very small nicks. There is also a contact mark on one of the sides of the specimen, where another mineral had previously been attached.
