Measurements: 50 x 41 x 26 mm Description:
A light amethyst quartz
crystal (41 x 6 x 5
mm) neatly embedded on top of a matrix consisting of calcite and, what
appears
to be (?)chalcedony, with hematite specks and very small quartz
crystals, some
with hematite inclusions. The
main crystal has a few
minute nicks to the termination and damage where it broke off from
where
it had
been attached. The matrix has a bit of damage where it was attached to
the mother rock. A
rather unusual specimen!
