Uncommon, gemmy, clear quartz crystals on basalt matrix - Brandberg

 Measurements:  57 x 47 x 28 mm

Description: Gemmy, clear quartz crystals (the largest ± 20 x 06 x 05) on a bed of calcite and, what appears to be, amazonite. The matrix is basalt rock. There is some damage to lesser crystals.

We have never seen a Brandberg specimen of this kind before!
