Phantom Quartz Crystal - NBB 038

Clear quartz crystal with light smoky / amethyst phantom and prehnite crystals

 Measurements:  44 x 13 x 12 mm

Description:  A clear quartz crystal with light smoky / amethyst phantom.  There are small prehnite crystals attached to the one side of the crystal. There are very minute nicks to the termination and a neat pressure mark to the full length of one of the long facets.

Chemical Composition:  SiO2  (quartz)  
                                    Ca2Al2Si3O10(OH)2  (prehnite)  

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  (quartz)  7
                                      (prehnite)  6-6.5
