Gemmy Quartz Crystals and Calcite on Basalt Matrix - NBB 007

Description:  Clear, gemmy quartz crystals with calcite and analcime (?) on a basalt matrix.

Some of the quartz crystals (largest ± 18 mm) have a few hematite specks. 

This specimen looks much better in real life, than on these photographs!

Some of the lesser quartz crystals have some damage.
