Gem quality prehnite ball on matrix - Brandberg, Namibia

 Measurements:  72 x 46 x 44 mm

Description:   A 40 mm wide gem quality prehnite ball on clear quartz and calcite matrix.  

This lovely ball of prehnite has, what appears to be a calcite crystal, attached to it. The matrix is made up of quartz and calcite crystals.

The bottom two photographs are of the back of the specimen.

Some damage to the top of the specimen, has greatly reduced its price.
