Quartz / Calcite Cluster - NBB 004

Measurements:   51 x 40 x 39 mm

Description:  A cluster of quartz and calcite crystals and one small (8 mm) prehnite crystal. The matrix is basalt, with hints of epidote.

The main feature of this lovely specimen, is the beautiful quartz crystal with garnet red hematite specks. 

There is damage where the specimen parted from the mother rock.
