Phantom Quartz Cluster BARG 011

Unusual phantom quartz cluster, unusual colours.

Measurements:   83 x 69 x 39 mm

Description:  A remarkable quartz crystal cluster with unusually coloured phantoms. The inner crystals of the phantoms are coated with white, green, yellow, brown and reddish-brown colours in what appears to be chlorine and hematite. Some of the first generation quartz crystals are exposed.

The main crystal terminations only have minute nicks, while there are a few crystals broken off. 

The bottom of the specimen has its own interesting crystal world (see photograph, bottom right).
